Ashley M. Biggers is an award-winning freelance journalist. Her work has appeared in CNN, Explore Parts Unknown, AFAR, USA Today, and Fodor’s Travel, among many others. She has also authored three books.
She completed her undergraduate degree in communication studies at the University of Puget Sound, and earned her master’s degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
She’s also a word nerd, a coffee addict, and a dog and cat mom. At heart, she’s a storyteller. She adores running, hiking, and doing yoga in her home state of New Mexico.
